Welcome to Nexus Clan! Here, I am just going to go through the rules and guidelines that every member must follow in order to keep our community going and fair.

How to join Nexus Clan

To join Nexus you must enter one of our tryout sessions or send a email to the admin at nexus-support@mail.com requesting to join and must have the following information in the email:

  • Full Name
  • In-game username
  • Age
  • An explaination of why you want to join Nexus.
  • Which supported game you want to join (you may join more than one) :
  • Counter-Strike: Source *mic required
  • SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam BRAVO 2 *mic required
  • Dawn of War: Dark Crusade *mic required

*Note that we are currently looking for mature members over the age of 17, though we do have exceptions for younger members.

We hold sessions for all our games. Once you have entered our tryouts doesnt mean you're automatically in the clan, you must show your greatest skills during the game which determines your acceptance into the clan. Things we look for in a Nexus member are:

  • Great skill
  • Not focused on only themsleves but helping out thier fellow teamates
  • Proper etiquette (not all members are of the same skill and no flaming other members)
  • Devotion to the clan and clan activities

If you show the following then your chances are very good for getting accepted into the clan.

Once you get accepted into Nexus

You must be active on the clan forums. Once you have joined you must have posts within the first 5 days of your acceptance or your membership will be removed. If you have not posted or posted very little at all within a 15 days period you account will be deleted. This is only fair due to the fact of people joining and not contributing to the clan. The fact we are being strict on this is because we have had lots of people join our clan and not do a single post and expect to be on the rosters.

Once a member your a member you gain full access to our game servers and special events.

Forum and server rules

  • Keep thread titles clean, and not caps.
  • No harsh language in forums, chat and on the mic
  • Use proper etiquette new players, not everyone is the same skill
  • No useless posts spamming of the forums, chat or mic
  • Do not harass other players
  • Do not team flash
  • No hard core spawn camping
  • Do not hack or or use cheat software or anything related
  • No racist’s name calling or comments
  • No porn signatures and/or avatars on the forums
  • Do not advertise of anysort of other clans and/or clubs
  • Do not post any illegal links, pics, or information
  • Do not use any ISO's for any platform unless with special permission from the administrator.
  • If your buddy got banned please don't post "his story" on how he got banned for it will result your account being banned.
  • If you have an actual grievance with your banning, contact me at nexus-support@mail.com
  • Impersonating any other user will get you ip banned.
  • If you don't know where to post something, post it in General Discussion. Do NOT post your thread in more than one forum.
  • Please only post in English.
  • Acting as a Mod or Admin will result your account in a temporary ban.

Images and Signatures

  • Signatures should be no larger than 250x500px.
  • Max size for avatars is 120x120 and should be less than 50kb if your uploading them on the forums, no max size if your off-site uploading.
  • If for some reason you're posting multiple pictures at once, post links.
  • No nude/ porn signatures or avatars.

This is to make the games and forums fun for everyone, so please follow them.

I know we may sound strict but we have to set rules to keep in order due to past experiences. We are a really good clan with excellent members and games, we have fun all the time and just like to hang out.

F.A.Q.'s

Q: When are clan tryout sessions?
A: We usually announce when we are having tryout sessions on many popular forums and we have them we we get applications to the clan.
Q: Why was my account no longer exists?
A: Your account was deleted for various reasons, mainly due to lack of board activity
Q: Why don't the forums work sometimes?
A: The reason why your web browser may timeout is because the forums are down for a reason, they are usually being fix for optimum performance and for changes.
Q: My account was deleted but I want back in the clan.
A: E-mail the Admin at nexus-support@mail.com and explain the reasons why you should be back in.
Q: Do we fight other clans?
A: Yes. We hold many clan matches to opposing clans, some clans are actually friends of ours and are held in great respect to us as we should be to them.
Q: I saw a member of Nexus in another clan aswell.
A: If that is the case please contact the Admin at nexus-support@mail.com A.S.A.P.
Q: Where can I talk about stuff thats not about the clan?
A: We have Off Topic, PC, and PSP boards that you can post in.
